Monday: French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, hash browns, orange slices or apple juice. Wednesday: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, green beans, broccoli cups, fruit. Thursday: Personal round pizza, carrots, red pepper cups, pineapple cups. Friday: Hamburgers, baked beans, fruit.
Woodstock public schools
Monday: Grilled chicken patties on wheat rolls, fruit. Wednesday: Mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce, fruit. Thursday:  Roast turkey, stuffing,c carrots, fruit. Friday: Pizza, green beans, fruit.
Putnam Elementary/Middle
Monday: Honey crisp chicken salad. Wednesday: Spaghetti, meatballs, roasted vegetables. Thursday (half day PES only): Grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato vegetable soup, veggies with hummus. Friday (half day, PES only): Putnam Special Pizza, tomato and cucumber salad. 
Putnam High
Monday: Honey BBQ chicken sandwiches, veggie sticks with dip, baked  beans. Wednesday: Fish 'n' chips, cole slaw, carrots, sherbet. Thursday: Chicken Caesar salad. Friday: Pizza, salad.

Turkey baskets
POMFRET — If you are not a regular client at the Pomfret Food Pantry but a resident of the town and wish to sign up for a Turkey basket this Holiday, you must register prior for a pick up time. Registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Pantry. People can also sign up during our regular hours at which are 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Income levels apply.

DAYVILLE — United Services, Inc., northeastern Connecticut’s behavioral health center, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Behavioral Health Care Accreditation.
United Services underwent a rigorous, unannounced on-site survey from August 25-27. During the review, The Joint Commission evaluated United Services’ compliance with behavioral health care standards related to several areas, including care, treatment, and services; environment of care; leadership; and screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm. Reviewers also conducted on-site observations and interviews with staff and clients.
