Cash pg 3 10-15-15

PUTNAM — Thomas A. Borner, president and CEO of PSB Holdings, Inc., announced the company’s Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend on the company’s common stock of $.04 per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2015. The dividend will be payable to all stockholders of record as of Oct. 21, 2015, and is scheduled to be paid on Nov. 4, 2015.
“We are pleased to announce the payment of this quarterly dividend,” said Borner. “These are exciting times for Putnam Bank, especially in light of the recent announcement of our proposed second-step conversion and stock offering. The payment of dividends is one way of providing a return to stockholders who have invested in our community bank. As local banks have disappeared, we will continue our brand of community banking for years to come in keeping with our tag line; “Together We Make A Difference”, as we have for the last 153 years of service to all of eastern Connecticut”.
The Company is the majority-owned subsidiary of Putnam Bancorp, MHC, a federal mutual holding company, which owns 3,729,846 of the company’s outstanding shares.

Drive pg 5 10-15-15

BROOKLYN — From 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 the Northeast District Department of Health (NDDH) will host a “Drive Thru To Avoid the Flu” event at Killingly Intermediate School in Dayville.
This outdoor flu clinic will provide an opportunity for people age 18 and older to get a free flu shot while they remain seated in their car.
“The primary reason for this exercise is to test local and regional emergency plans to dispense a lot of medication in a short amount of time,” said NDDH Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Derek May. “If there were ever an imminent threat from a pandemic or anthrax attack, our entire NDDH population of over 85,000 residents might need to get preventive medication within just a few days, and the “Drive Thru” model is one way to help reach a lot of people quickly.”
Free flu shots will be limited to the first 100 adults who register by calling the health department at 860-774-7350. These enrolled participants will be asked to save time and help to improve clinic performance by downloading and completing a short immunization consent form and reviewing the vaccine information statement available at  www.nddh.org.
“As a side benefit of this emergency exercise, we will be able to perform a real public service by delivering 100 free flu shots to adults age 18 and older who attend,” said NDDH Public Health Nurse Nancy Beaudry, who will manage the vaccination teams.
