His coaching experience is extensive. He volunteer coached Little League baseball and softball in Putnam and Plainfield; volunteer coached youth football in Putnam. He was also an assistant coach for RHAM’s varsity and JV football squads this past season.
In addition he coached at Chariho Regional Schools in Wood Driver Junction, R.I., with their high school’s varsity and JV softball programs
Heath is a 2007 graduate of Putnam High School. He was a three-year varsity baseball player and four-year varsity football player. He played four years of Putnam Little League and six years of WPTP football.
Asked what his goals are for the RHAM Middle School softball team, he said: “My hopes for this season are to keep RHAM Middle School softball competitive and growing. I tend to coach a more ‘aggressive small ball’ style of game. I want to give the program some stability at the helm. Middle school coaching jobs see a lot of turnover and I am looking to give RHAM some stability for the foreseeable future as the middle school head coach.”
