The October 2013 billing of water and / or sewer collections for the Town of Putnam WPCA is due and payable on October 1, 2013 through November 1, 2013.
Payments made after October 1, 2013 will be subject to an Interest charge of 3% (1.5% per month) or $2.00 minimum whichever is higher, according to Connecticut State Statute SEC.

The piano students of Ruth Doughty and Priscilla Colwell recently held a recital at the South Woodstock Baptist Church. Taking part in the 60th Piano Recital were: Dennis Gagnon of Putnam, Grace Chouinard of Woodstock, Gabrielle Couture of Brooklyn, Reagan Couture of Woodstock, Sydney Couture of Brooklyn, Lucas Renaud of Pomfret, Katy Maryanov of Putnam, Jordan Couture of Woodstock, Ilya Klimoshenko of Ashford, Lucas Couture of Brooklyn, Zachary Paige of Woodstock, Julia Roemer of Pomfret, Kylie Couture of Woodstock and Jordan Renaud of Pomfret.

Bark for Life event
raises money
PUTNAM — The tallies are finished and the Bark for Life, sponsored by the Citizens National Bank,  raised $4,913.55 for the event and throughout the year. The goal was $5,000.
Ninety dog and 167 people took part in the recent event.
Organizers said, “We are very grateful for every single cent. The American Cancer Society will put these funds to good use. Sending out a HUGE THANK YOU to an amazing committee, remarkable sponsors, wonderful vendors, incredible veterinarians - Animal Care Experts (you guys are awesome) all the participants and last but certainly not least …all of the dogs! Stay tuned into the Bark for-Life Facebook page for updates, events and messages about Bark for Life throughout the year.”
