Bragdon promoted
PUTNAM — Tammy Bragdon was recently promoted to branch manager of the Price Chopper office of Putnam Bank. She joined Putnam Bank as an assistant branch manager in 2010 bringing  more than 19 years of Community Banking experience.  
“We are pleased to promote Ms. Bragdon to the position of branch manager and bank officer,” said Thomas A. Borner, president and CEO of the bank.   “She exemplifies the best of community banking; and it is rewarding to be able to promote from within as the staff develops and grows along with the bank,” added Borner. 
She earned her associate’s degree in business science from Beal College in Bangor, Maine, and graduated from Connecticut School of Finance and Management in 2009. She is an experienced licensed Life Insurance agent through Vantis Life. Bragdon’s community involvement includes American Cancer Society Relay For Life, Hospice and Palliative Care of NE Connecticut and other Putnam Bank-sponsored events.

Grenier joins
Putnam Bank
PUTNAM — Paul Grenier joined the staff of Putnam Bank in December as Business Development and Security Officer at Putnam Bank.  With more than 30 years of local community banking experience, Grenier will oversee the security administration of the bank’s eight offices.  In the business development position, he will be looking to attract and build new business in loans and deposits throughout the bank’s market area.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Grenier to Putnam Bank,” said Thomas A. Borner, president and CEO of the bank.   “His extensive background in local community banking makes him a valued addition to the Putnam Bank family,” added Borner.
