WOODSTOCK — Woodstock Building Associates, LLC of Woodstock was recently awarded  “Best Of Houzz” by Houzz, the leading online platform for residential remodeling and design.  More than 16 million monthly users that comprise the Houzz community chose the design/build firm for the award.  Doug Porter, the managing partner, said he is very pleased with the award for the second year in a row.  
The Best Of Houzz award is given in two categories: Customer Satisfaction and Design. Woodstock Building Associates, LLC received the award for design. The Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 16 million monthly users on Houzz.

‘Chicago’
WOODSTOCK --- Drama students at Hyde School will perform Samuel French’s Chicago at 8 p.m. Feb. 21 and Feb. 27 in the Hyde School Cultural Center.  The show is free (although donations will be accepted and refreshments sold), and is open to the public on both evenings.

Italian Dinner Cabaret
PUTNAM --- The Putnam High School Music Department will hold an Italian Dinner Cabaret from 5 to 7 p.m. in the PHS cafeteria. Art March Madness
POMFRET --- The Connecticut  Audubon Society Center at Pomfret on Day Road will present March Madness beginning at 1 p.m. with “Meet Skitur the Quill Pig - aka a live porcupine!” and at 2 p.m. the opening reception for two art exhibits: “Welcoming Spring”, a watercolor exhibition by Chaplin resident Susan Peifer, and “Pomfret’s 300th”, a student exhibition showcasing talent from the Pomfret Community School.  860-928-4948.
