EAST PUTNAM — The Eastern Connecticut Amateur Radio Association is offering a free ham radio training course; classes are at 7 p.m. every Wednesday evening now through June 7 at the East Putnam Fire Station on Rt. 44. Food Drive
The Putnam Rotary Club, Interact Club, the Putnam Elks, the Putnam Lions and Leos all worked together April 7 and raised $3,143.06 and 608 pounds of food for Daily Bread in the parking lot of WINY Radio. Linda Lemmon photo.
