Valedictorian grad
BOSTON — Jessie Rae Greenhalgh, daughter of Peter and Pamela Greenhalgh from Killingly, graduated as Valedictorian Suma Cum Laude from Fisher College Boston May 11 2024.
She received her bachelor degree in human services and health professions. At present time she will remain at her present position in Boston as a health professional working with autistic children. It is noted she also graduated from QMC in 2021 as Valedictorian.

Dr. Brown named VP at DKH
PUTNAM — Vanessa M. Brown, MD, JD, FACEP, FAAEM, was recently named vice president of Medical Affairs and Quality at Day Kimball Health (DKH). Since 2020, Dr. Brown has served as the medical director of DKH’s emergency department. Before joining the Day Kimball Hospital team, Dr. Brown served as an attending physician at Stamford Hospital where she also served as Chair of the Credentials Committee.
In her new position, Dr. Brown is responsible for serving as the liaison between the DKH medical staff and executive staff within the DKH system of care. She oversees the medical staff office, quality improvement/risk management department, and the medical staff directors in eleven areas of care.
Dr. Brown attended Yale University where she earned a bachelor’s biology, followed by a Doctorate of Medicine at UCLA and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Quinnipiac University. Her professional association memberships include the American Board of Emergency Medicine, the American Bar Association, and the American Health Law Association.
Kyle Kramer, CEO of Day Kimball Health, said: “With her exceptional background and demonstrated leadership as the former medical director of our emergency department, her guidance will elevate DKH’s focus on safety, quality improvement, and patient care outcomes. We look forward to seeing the impact her leadership will have on both our staff and patients alike.”
