Town of Pomfret
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING 
The legal voters and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meeting of the Town of Pomfret are hereby warned to meet at the Pomfret Community School Cafeteria, 20 Pomfret Street in the Town of Pomfret, Connecticut on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 6:30 PM to act upon the following articles:
Article 1: To choose a Moderator for said meeting.
Article 2: To see if the Town will accept a donation of land from the Abington Cemetery Association located at 620 Mashamoquet Road, Assessor’s map 28, Block E, Lot 3.00 consisting of approximately 1.70 acres of land.  Map of said property is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk.
Article 3: To see if the Town will accept a certain portion of land to be donated by the Pomfret School consisting of approximately .75 acres as divided from Assessor’s Map 14, Block B,  Lot 25.00 where it abuts property of the Pomfret Public Library and Route 44.  A map depicting said piece of property is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk. 
Article 4: To see if the Town will approve a Resolution to accept a Main Street Investment Fund Grant in the amount of $166,000 from the State of Connecticut, Department of Housing for the purpose of extending a sidewalk from the Pomfret Public Library in an easterly direction along Route 44 to the Town Green at the intersection of Route 44/169/97 and to accept any monies from the Pomfret School and Rectory School to be used toward the completion of the same.  A copy of said Resolution is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk.
Article 5: To see if the Town will approve a Resolution to accept an Electric Vehicle Charging Station Incentive Grant from the State of Connecticut, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, for an amount of up to $10,000 for the purpose of installing a publicly accessible electric vehicle charging station on town-owned property.  A copy of said Resolution is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk.
Article 6: To see if the Town will approve a Resolution to endorse and authorize an application to the State of Connecticut, as administered by the Office of Policy and Management in accordance with Sections 87 and 328 of Public Act 13-247, for the Uniform Chart of Accounts Conversion Grant Program and to authorize the First Selectman to execute any and all agreements for the same.  A copy of said Resolution is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk.
Article 7: To do any other business proper to come before said meeting.
