Navy Prep 77
PUTNAM —Feb 13 the Mustangs were able to earn their 13th straight victory over Navy Prep (R.I.) by a final score of 104-77.
The Mustangs took a 57-41 lead into halftime and controlled the game the rest of the way.
Junior Akok Akok led the Mustangs with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks who continues to play really well. Jose Perez added 16 points and 4 rebounds and Hassan Diarra chipped in with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
Kyle Lofton (7 assists and 5 steals), Kareem Reid (7 rebounds) and Josh Mballa (8 rebounds) each scored 8 points apiece for Putnam Science Academy.
PSA 118
Brimmer & May 83
PUTNAM — In a balanced team effort the Putnam Science Academy Mustangs were able to continue their winning streak to 14 games after beating Brimmer & May 118-83 Wednesday evening. After building a 21-point halftime lead the Mustangs were able to maintain and grow that lead into a convincing win.
In the win the Mustangs were led by Kareem Reid as he recorded a team high 17 points and added 5 rebounds.
Gabe McGlothan continues to improve for the Mustangs as he recorded a double double scoring 15 points and bringing down 10 rebounds.
Jose Perez had 12 points, Akok Akok had 11 points and 12 rebounds and Nick Brennen chipped in with 11 points to all finish in double figures for PSA.
The Mustangs improved to 28-4 on the season and will be back in action tomorrow night at the Brewster Showcase in Wolfboro, N.H.

Covenant Prep (NJ) 74
WOLFBORO, N.H. — The Putnam Science Academy Mustangs captured its 15th straight win after beating Covenant Prep (NJ) Feb. 16, 85-74.
Senior Cam Gooden led the Mustangs (29-4) with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists while Akok Akok tacked on 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Nick Brennen added 11 points and 2 rebounds and Kareem Reid chipped in with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks in the win for Putnam Science.

WOLFBORO, N.H. — The Mustangs were back in action at the Brewster Showcase Feb. 17 as they faced off against top ten team Brewster Academy. The Mustangs came away victorious 77-63 behind a team effort.
Kyle Lofton once again was huge for the Mustangs with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Akok Akok had a monster game with a triple double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks.
Jose Perez had a big game with 13 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds and Josh Mballa chipped in with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks for PSA.
The Mustangs two victories over the last 2 days improved their overall record to 30-4 and tied a school record with 16 straight wins.
