Honored
WILLIMANTIC — One local students was inducted into the Eastern Connecticut State University’s Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology;  Dana Bein ’20 of Danielson, who majors in psychology. Bein was inducted into Psi Chi. Two other local students were honored: Jolene Potter ’19 of Danielson, who majors in psychology, was honored for achieving the highest distinction; Tayler Shea ’19 of Danielson, who majors in psychology, was honored for achieving a high distinction.

BRISTOL, R.I. — The following local residents were among the students who received their degrees in May as part of the Class of 2019: Kayla Bordua of Thompson graduated with a degree in B.S. in Accounting; Owen Guillot of Dayville graduated Cum Laude with a degree in B.S. in Engineering (mechanical Engr. Specialization).

Intern
WILLIMANTIC — Eastern Connecticut State University student Shannon Fagan ’20 is working as an operations management intern at Hi-Way Campers this summer, a family-owned RV retailer in Plainfield. She will be interning with the company until Aug. 26. Fagan majors in Business Administration and is from Putnam. As an operations management intern her responsibilities include managing the company’s payroll, expanding its external web presence, tracking inventory and creating job descriptions for future positions.

POMFRET — Students named to the Head of School Scholar Honors List at Pomfret School include: Thomas Bergendahl of Pomfret Center, Class of 2020; Jessica Farrell of Woodstock, Class of 2020; Tatum Fisher of Pomfret, Class of 2022; Rose-Michaela Nsubuga of Danielson, Class of 2021; Teagan O’Hara of Woodstock, Class of 2020.
