Accident witnesses sought
PUTNAM — The Putnam Police Department is looking for witnesses to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident about 10 a.m. Nov. 5 on Woodstock Avenue.
Police said the motor vehicle occupied by only an operator was traveling south on Woodstock Avenue and struck a female pedestrian who was jogging north on Woodstock Avenue. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, was taken to Day Kimball Hospital and then transferred to UMass Medical Center.
