The Town of Putnam Planning Commission will hold a meeting on June 24, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT.   A public hearing will be held on the following:

Application # 2103-02:  Robert J. Guillot — Request for a 1 lot subdivision for property located at 112 Hawkins Road, Town Assessor’s Map 026, Lot 071. Zoned C-4 consisting of 1.4394 +/- acres.

Legal Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town and Fire District of Pomfret that the First Installment of taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2012, is DUE AND PAYABLE July 1, 2013.
The last day to pay without penalty is August 1, 2013.  Interest will be charged at 18% annually (1.5% per month) on all delinquent payments postmarked August 2, 2013 or later.
To view or pay your bill online, go to www.pomfretct.org.  Make all checks payable to Pomfret Tax Collector.  Mail payments to 5 Haven Rd., Pomfret Center, CT 06259.  If a receipt is desired, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.  
Office hours DURING THE MONTH OF JULY are:  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:30 – 6:00 p.m.  The office is closed on Fridays.  If you have any questions, please call 860-974-0394.   The Town Hall will be closed Thursday, July 4.

AMENDMENT TO
PARKING
 ORDINANCE
 Be it ORDAINED by the Town of Putnam Special Services District Authority that the Amendment  To the Parking Ordinance adopted by the Town of Putnam Special Services District Authority on  April 08, 2013, be Amended as follows:
     SECTION 3 – ITEM 4:  NEW Parking Lines will be Marked on South Main Street from Front Street To End of the Municipal Parking Lot.
     SECTION 3 – ITEM 5:  No Parking on the North side of Front Street (RT 44) From South Main Street to Main Street.
     This Amendment to the Parking Ordinance shall become effective Ten Days after its Passage and Legal Publication.
     ADOPTED BY THE Town of Putnam Special Services District Authority this 10th Day of June, 2013.
