	POMFRET --- As part of the Town of Pomfret’s 300th birthday celebration, the Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH) is sponsoring a one-day conference, “300 Years in Connecticut’s Not-So-Quiet Corner,” from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Pomfret School. 	TOLLAND --- "Introduction to French-Canadian Genealogical Research,” a free public seminar, will be presented at 7 p.m. in the French-Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut’s library in the Old County Courthouse on Tolland Green.
