Town prevails
PUTNAM --- Town Administrator Douglas M. Cutler said the state's appellate court has recently affirmed in the town's favor in a nuisance lawsuit about a parking lot next to the Aspinock Historical Society's building on School street.
Don Perry had filed suit against the town  last October, claiming that the town's parking lot was a nuisance because drivers would park there, shining their headlights into the Perry house and changing their oil and more. Perry lost in court and the town learned that the appellate court upheld the town's position.
