WORCESTER — Two local students received a bachelor’s degree during Assumption College’s 99th Commencement exercises on May 7, 2016: Rachael Hickey of Woodstock and Caroline Kenney of Woodstock.

 

On dean’s list

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. —  Kathryn Ann Archambault of Pomfret center was named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary for the spring 2016 semester.

 

Graduates

NEWTON, Mass. — Daniel Gagnon of Pomfret Center has received a BS degree from Lasell College. The achievement was announced during commencement exercises on the Newton, MA campus in May 15, 2016. Gagnon majored in athletic training.

WILLIMANTIC — Several local students received their diplomas at Eastern Connecticut State University’s 126th Commencement exercises: 

Sharon Maines of Woodstock received a graduate degree in Elementary Education. Maines is a resident of Woodstock.

Adriana Gietler of Woodstock Valley received a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education. Gietler is a resident of Woodstock Valley.

Andrew St. Jean of Woodstock Valley received a graduate degree in Secondary Education. St. Jean is a resident of Woodstock Valley.

Carlene Putnam of Woodstock received a graduate degree in Secondary Education. Putnam is a resident of Woodstock.

DURHAM, N.H. — The following local students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the commencement ceremony held Saturday, May 21, 2016: 

Elizabeth Farias of Chepachet earned a BS in Communication Sci & Disorders Magna Cum Laude; Alysha Blanchard of Pascoag earned a AAS in Veterinary Technology; Lucas Duncan of Pomfret Center earned a BA in History; Stefanie Orn of Putnam earned a BA in Spanish Magna Cum Laude.

John McGinn of Pomfret Center, member of the class of 2018 majoring in actuarial mathematics.

Michael Paquette of Woodstock, a member of the class of 2018 majoring in electrical and computer engineering.
