BROOKLYN — Nicholas K. Fortson, president and CEO of CorePlus Federal Credit Union, announced that Tammy Bragdon has been hired as the branch manager for the credit union’s Brooklyn location.  
Bragdon has vast experience in the financial services industry, holding positions of branch manager, mortgage originator and security officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate management as a successful team leader in local financial institutions.  
“I am excited to be a part of the CorePlus Credit Union family and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with our Members, staff and community to advance the credit union movement in Northeastern Connecticut” she said recently. Bragdon is a long-time resident of Windham County, and is very involved in her local community as a supporter of the Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and the Putnam Business Association. 
CorePlus Federal Credit Union, founded in 1936, currently has 8 full service branches locally in Norwich, Taftville, Groton, East Lyme, Waterford, Plainfield, and within the Putnam and Brooklyn Walmart Supercenters.
