Wild West
'fun-raiser'
a big success
The Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce sponsored a night in the wild, wild West April 21 with a new event, Denim & Diamonds.
The “fun”-raiser was held at the Connecticut National Golf Club & “Ranch” in Putnam and welcomed nearly 150 guests dressed in western and diamond attire. Cowboys and cowgirls danced to the music of Tequila Bonfire, enjoyed outstanding refreshments, rode “El Torro,” the mechanical bull, and participated in the corporate throw-down games.

Committee chair Dr. Carlee Drummer said, “The Chamber could not be more pleased with the number of people who turned out – and we’re looking forward to bringing the Wild West back to the Quiet Corner in 2018.”
