undefeated in
CSC, 1st place

The Clippers remain undefeated in CSC East and on top of the Conference after beating Ellis Tech 7-1 May 1. The Clippers came out of the gate early with firepower when Mitchel Barylski ripped a triple which drove in a run to put Putnam on the board first. The Clippers took a 4-1 game into the seventh inning before adding insurance runs off a walk, a double by Cole Davagian, and a single by Andrew Simmons. Barylski was dominant on the hill as he went the distance, surrendering one run, five hits, and striking  out seven. The Clippers are 6-4, 5-0 on the season after the win.
Putnam 7
Parish Hill 1
Last week Putnam faced off against Parish Hill  and took a 2-1 game into the fifth inning. The Clippers were led to victory by Mitchel Barylski and Zach Cutler as they led the team by both hitting doubles in the fifth-inning rally. They finished the game with three runs batted in. The victory keeps the Clippers in first place in the Constitution State Conference as they are still undefeated in the league play. The Clippers moved to 5-4 on the year and look forward to staying competitive in conference play. Parish Hill was led by Kyler Zaimoff who was responsible for the run scored and had two hits in the game. The Pirates are now 3-4 on the season. 
Killingly 13
New London 6
The Redman travel on the road to face the Whalers, and were led to victory by the pitching from Ethan Preston on the mound. They were supported offensively by the three hits that came from Jacob Jones, as he hit a double to right and a solo homerun. With this victory, the Redman move to a 5-6 record and continue playing good baseball. New London was led by Noah Smith who had three hits for his team but couldn’t edge out Killingly and fall to 2-7. 
Marianapolis 13
St. Thomas More 5
The Golden Knights gave the ball to their towering righthander, J.T. Mullins, who stands 6-feet, 7-inches as he pitched a complete game and finished the game striking out a total of 11 batters. The Knights were not only in command from the mound, but were led by Jake Violette who racked up two hits and drove in four runs for the Golden Knights as they look to spark a winning streak, keeping the offensive loaded. 
Putnam 10
Grasso Tech 2
The Clippers were led by Scott Davagian who finished the game with three hits. Two of them were doubles. He also drove in two runs from the plate. The Clippers also got great efforts from Johnny Espinosa who had a couple hits which led to three runs batted in for Putnam. The Clippers picked up the win and moved to a .500 record at 4-4. Clippers were also in command from the mound as Adam Saucier had 10 strikeouts over the Eagles from Grasso Tech.
Ellis Tech 7
Parish Hill 1
Ellis Tech picked up their seventh consecutive win against the Pirates as they were led by Brendan Miller and Corey Golden as they each had two hits in the game. Miller drove in two runs. The Eagles gave the ball to Caleb Deslaurier who pitched five innings and gave up six hits, but the Eagles coasted to their ninth win of the season as they are 9-2 overall. They are 5-1 in the CSC East behind Putnam. 
Woodstock 6
Griswold 1
The Centaurs handed the ball to Alden Brennan as he took command over the Wolverines as he struck out nine batters and didn’t give up any walks in the complete game outing, wrapping up the 6-1 victory.  He had support from his team offensively as David Redfield led the way, going for two hits in three at-bats and drove in two runs. Alden Brennan drove in a run himself to cushion his lead a little more, and the Centaurs move to 5-4 on the campaign. 
Killingly 3
Wheeler 1
The Redman came into the game with a lot of pressure as they were on a losing streak but they snapped the four-game skid as they handed the ball to their ace Bryan Albee as he pitched a complete game and struck out 10 batters only giving up three hits. Redman were led by Hunter Yaworski who had two doubles in the game and drove in a run, while Jacob Jones also had three hits and drove in another run to move their record to 4-6 and the Wheeler Lions fell to 2-7.
Ellis Tech 8
Norwich Tech 4
The Eagles won their sixth straight game against a divisional matchup against Norwich Tech by a score 8-4. Ellis Tech was led by Dawson Laprise who totaled up two doubles in the game which led to three runs scored for the Eagles. Caleb Deslauriers hit a triple and drove in a run for Ellis. Ellis moves their record to 8-2 on the year, and 4-1 in the CSC East division. As for Norwich Tech, Nick Lavallie hit a double and a triple which contributed three runs batted in, but the Warriors moved to 3-7 on the year and 3-2 in conference play. 
East Lyme 1
Woodstock Academy 0
The Centaurs traveled to East Lyme and they had the ball in the hands of Trevor Delesdernier, who pitched a complete game for the Vikings. The Vikings took an early lead in the second inning when Luke Leonard drove in an RBI and Trevor held in down from the mound, although David Redfield connected on a double for the Centaurs, but Woodstock slides to .500 4-4 record.
