WEBSTER — The countdown has begun for the 44th Annual St. Joseph Polish Festival, held on the weekend of June 16-18 on the St. Joseph School grounds on Whitcomb Street. It is a fund-raiser for St. Joseph School.
The festival hours are 5 to 11 p.m. June 16, noon to 11 p.m. June 17 and noon to 4 p.m. June 18.
Along with fresh,  home-made food all weekend long, there will be games of chance, Special Gifts drawing, Money drawing, Pastry Booth, Dice Wheel, Spirits Shoppe, kids’ games , Kiddie Land, face painting, Bounce House, Snack Shack, Dunk Tank, Garage Sale, Polish Booth, Potato Pancakes (Placki), Wheelbarrow of Cheer and the 50/50 drawings. 
The kitchen will feature Polish favorites like Pierogi, Golabki, Kapusta, Kielbasa and more!  New this year is a Waffle booth, a Slime Booth, and will feature a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, starting at noon. Tournament will require Advanced registration at (508) 943-0378.   The Maestro’s Men polka band will perform on from 6 to 10 p.m. June 16 and 17.
On June 16 food to be featured includes: seafood specials of clam chowder and fish and chips, Polish and American foods. On June 17 PIAST, the Polish-American Folk Group, will perform at 3.  The annual festival Mass will be held at 4 p.m. in St. Joseph Basilica.  On June 18 Cornhole Tournament is at noon; chicken BBQ is from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance at (508) 943-0467).  The St. Joseph School Talent Show will start at 2 and the drawings start around 4.
