The Town of Putnam Inland Wetland Commission held a meeting on July 11, 2017, at 7:00 P.M. at the Putnam Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT.  The following action was taken:
Application #2017-03; Spicer Road Realty, LLC — Gravel excavation and construction of a haul road between the excavation areas and the existing Barnes Concrete processing plant.  3,161 square feet of wetland disturbance is proposed to construct the haul road with three wetland crossings.  Excavation Site: 827 Providence Pike, Haul Road: 873 Providence Pike & 832 Five Mile River Road. APPROVED
Application #2017-04: Ida Markowitz – 566 Five Mile River Road — 3-Lot Subdivision on the northerly side of Five Mile River Road with 14 acres of remaining land.  Proposed house construction 100 feet from wetland pocket.  APPROVED
Application #2017-05: Guy Lahaie – 241 Killingly Avenue — New residential development-multi-family/condo-construction of a 120-foot span bridge with activity within the wetlands and the regulated area of Culver Brook off Killingly Avenue (Route 12). Assessor’s Map #38, Lot #78.   APPROVED

Appeal #2017: Rolgate, Inc.  — Request for variances per Section 501.2 of the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations for an increase of the total expansion (existing & proposed) from 55.9% to 58.2% and a reduction of the rear setback from 20’ to 1.5’ (an existing condition).  Property located at 146 Park Road. Town Assessor’s Map 45, Lot 18. Zoned Industrial.  APPROVED
