BROOKLYN — A local man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Sept. 13 on Rt. 6 in Killingly.
Branden Langlois, 22, of #50 Vina Lane, Brooklyn, was charged with possession of narcotics.
Members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Chevrolet Impala for failure to have a front plate. Police said Langlois was sweating profusely and was nervous. K9 “Ambrie”, a Labrador narcotic detection canine, was deployed and numerous pieces of crack cocaine were found.
