Great Turnout
May 8 the Putnam Commission on Aging and Thompson Recreation Department hosted a luncheon for 200 seniors from the two communities. The Just Two Trio entertained. It was a time of meeting making new friends and meeting old friends. Putnam Commission on Aging consists of nine members appointed by the Mayor and Board of Selectmen. This program was the first luncheon held since the formation of the commission in 2016. The commission has been very active in that time, presenting several programs relevant to seniors with more events and programs planned. Courtesy photo.
