Lady Clippers
Dec. 11 the Lady Clippers their first win in the ECC against Wheeler at home in Putnam. The Lady Clipper’s would jump out to an 11-2 first quarter start and would keep the lead the whole game winning 45 to 20. The tandem of Molly Mckeon and Kayleigh Lyons would both net 13 points while Abby St.Martin would contribute 7 points and 14 rebounds. Dec. 14 the Lady Clippers headed to Lyman Memorial for a grudge match after Lyman knocked the Clippers out of the 2nd round of the CIAC Tournament last year by three points. This time it would be all Clippers from start to finish in a 44 to 22 away win to bring Putnam to 2-0 record to start off their 2018-2019 campaign. The Ladies will play at 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at Tourtellotte and at 3 p.m. Dec. 21, facing Tourtellotte again, in the Clipper Classic.

The Clippers opened up their ECC schedule with a road trip to St. Bernard High school where the Clippers would fall, 63-36. Dec. 14 the boys hosted the Redmen from Killingly in front a full crowd for their home opener. The Clippers would only be down by 9 at the half and would cut the lead down to 6 points.
