DANIELSON — The Arc Eastern Connecticut held its 2nd Annual Murder Mystery Theater production, and grossed more than $21,000.
The Murder Mystery Company-Boston Troupe presented the “1920’s Gangster” themed event and the audience included nearly 170, many of whom arrived in period costumes. All proceeds support programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Kathleen Stauffer, The Arc’s chief executive officer, said: “The abundance of community support we’ve received for this fund-raiser is heartwarming,” she told the crowd. “You have all made a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, and for that, we are forever grateful.”
Gerardi Insurance Services, Inc. was the “Roaring 20’s” Event Sponsor. “Flapper Sponsors” included Savings Institute Bank & Trust, The Schuster Group and Linemaster Switch. “Gangster Sponsors” were Rawson Materials, CorePlus Credit Union, Putnam Bank, Northeast Flooring & Kitchens, Putnam Rotary Club, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Spirol and bankHometown.
