The Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the Land Trust Alliance, conducts an extensive review of each applicant’s policies and programs. Achieving accreditation is a mark of distinction, showing that a land trust implements financial best practices for nonprofits. It sends a message to landowners and supporters, and is a catalyst for improvement, which results in faster, better, stronger conservation. This will be instrumental to the mission of the Wyndham Land Trust, which is to conserve and steward the natural resources of Windham County.
