POMFRET — The Pomfret Recreation department is planning several events. You do not need to live in Pomfret to participate in most Town Rec. programs.

Positively Pomfret Day: Sept. 22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This annual event is held at the town Recreation Park on Rt. 97 in Pomfret. The day consists of a live band, many inflatable rides, games, food booths, crafters, demonstrations, several contests and much more. Vendors sought: Visit www.pomfretct.gov/recreation for a form.
Cooking Class: Learn how to make a Noodle Bowl with either Chicken, Beef or Tofu Sate. 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29 at the Senior Center in Pomfret. Fee: $10 per person.
Cooking Class: Learn how to make Won Ton Soup! 11 a.m. Oct. 13 at the Pomfret Senior Center. Fee: $10 per person.
