Football
ITHACA, N.Y. — The PSA football team brought the necessities for the game — blankets and pillows. It was an early start, 5 a.m. to be exact , for the five-hour ride up to Ithaca College to take on the Bombers. The Mustangs also brought their offense as both teams lit up the scoreboard. Unfortunately, Ithaca came out on top 70-42. It was the best scoring output of the season for the Mustangs. Quarterbacks Demarcus Williams and Kalil Barno got it done through the air and on the ground. Williams put in his work on the ground with 115 yards to go along with two rushing touchdowns. Barno got it done through the air with two touchdown passes, passing for 120 yards. His first touchdown pass came on a 70-yard bomb. The other he connected with wide receiver Camari Smith for a 50-yard score. The offensive star of the game was the exceptional receiver Malachi Hynes with eight receptions for 140 receiving yards and a touchdown. The defensive star, perhaps star of the game, goes to Chiaka Sanogo who had two sacks playing in his first ever football game. Defensive stalwart Donovan Darden had two interceptions in the game returning one 60 yards for a touchdown. Fellow defensive back Noah Lesvesaque also had an interception. The Mustangs record sits at 0-6 on the season.
