Lightning Shock Bruins
A Jekyll and Hyde team this year the Bruins playing well and looking for their fourth win faltered against the Lightning.
The Bruins took an early lead behind a shot from team leader Nathan DeLuca assisted by Zach Gagnon and Cal Wilcox.
The score remained 1-0 in a tight defensive battle until early in the second period.
Four unanswered Lightning goals, two by Darian Shunaman and one each  by Jack Liggett and Josh McFadden quickly turned the tide as the second period ended 4-1.
The Lightning tacked on two more in the third period as Darian Shunaman completed his first Hat trick of the year and the final goal by B line star Kyle Prouty ended the game at 6-2.
Tyler Huhtanen scored for the Bruins with a little under a minute to play but it was not enough as the Lightning earn their second win of the season. Lightning assists were credited to Zach Smith, Jordan LaMothe and Jack Liggett. Lightning Goalie Dylan Menditto stopped 17 shots on the day. The Lightning improves to 2 – 4 – 2 while the Bruins fall to 3-4-1.
