Catch Basin Cleaning
The Town of Putnam, CT will receive sealed bids for the cleaning of catch basins and storm sewer structures until 4:30 PM, Friday April 30, 2010, in the Office of the Mayor, 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
Bids will be opened at the Selectmen’s meeting on Monday May 3, 2010. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked "Catch Basin Cleaning."
The Town of Putnam, CT reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding; to accept and/or reject any and all bids; or to accept a bid which in its sole judgment is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Putnam, CT.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the bid opening.

Bids will be received in the Office of the Mayor, 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260 until Friday April 30, 2010, at 4:30 PM. Bids will be opened at the Selectmen’s meeting on Monday May 3, 2010. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked Construction Equipment Rental.

COLLECTIONS
The April 2010 billing of water and / or sewer taxes for the Town of Putnam WPCA is due and payable on April 1, 2010 through May 1, 2010.
Payments made after May 1, 2010 will be subject to an Interest charge of 3% (1.5% per month) or $ 2.00 minimum whichever is higher, according to Connecticut State Statue SEC. 12-146.
Mail must be postmarked no later than May 1, 2010, to avoid interest charges.
