PUTNAM --- The annual Putnam Rotary Club Ray Brousseau Senior Shootout was held last week.
The scores:
In the girls' game the Red Team, sponsored by Benpe Consultants ,scored 55 and the Green Team, sponsored by the Center for Bone and Joint Care, scored 72.
In the boys' contest, the Blue Team, sponsored by Leschke Puffer Insurance, scored 99 and the White Team, sponsored by WINY, got 81 points.
Girls MVPs
Red Team: Sabrina Padro, Hyde 21 points.
Green: Katelyn Tarr, Putnam 33 points.
Boys MVPs
Blue: TaQuan Zimmerman, PSA 18 points.
White: Mike Gittens, PSA 22 pts.
Willie Bousquet, Rotarian and the Putnam High School girls' basketball team coach, said the club had 16 girls participate and 32 boys participate.
Girls' coaches were: Red: Mandi Hogan/Willie Bousquet,;Green: Carla Faucher.
Boys' coaches were: Blue: Shawn Deary/ Dennis Deary; White: Scott Derosier.
The Citizens National Bank half-time shoot-out was hit, (a foul shot, a three- pointer, and a half-court shot) by Noah Brown, Hyde student.
