Hyde opened up the 2010 season April 6 traveling to SENE conference foe Rocky Hill. With high hopes for another SENE title the Wolfpack struggled to get things going in the opening half. Costly turnovers and lack of intensity put Rocky Hill ahead 3-1 at the half. Hyde won 9-5.
Coming out of half time the Wolf Pack erased their early mistakes and took control. Jake Lifson ’10 got on the board with a great feed from Ryan Giebel ’10 to spark the Wolfpack. Soon after goals from Tyler Case ’10, Hunter Carruthers ’10, and Chris Velez ’10 put the game out of reach and Hyde escaped with a 9-5 victory. On the defensive end goalie Will Sobo ’10, and defensemen Ryan Delaney ’10 put the clamps on the Rocky Hill attack in the second half.

Scoring:
Chris Velez 2 goals, 1 assist
Tyler Case 1 goal, 3 assists
Hunter Carruthers 2 goals
Jake Lifson 2 goals
Ryan Giebel 1 goal, 1 assist
Pat Donnellan 1 goal, 1 assist
