Zoning Commission
The Town of Putnam Zoning Commission will hold a meeting on June 16, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A public hearing will be held on the following:
Docket # 2010-11: Town of Putnam Zoning Commission -- Request for an amendment to the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations, Section 720 Schedule of Uses and Districts. The proposed amendment by the Commission addresses certain uses in a C-2 Zone. The application with the proposed changes is available for review in the Land Use Office, First Floor at the Town Hall.

Town Meeting
JUNE 14, 2010
The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Putnam, Connecticut, are hereby notified and warned that a Town Meeting of said Town will be held at the Daniel S. Rovero Selectmen’s Chambers, Putnam Town Hall, 126 Church Street, Putnam, Connecticut, on Monday, June 14, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the evening for the following purposes
1. To choose a moderator for said meeting;
2. To determine the wishes of those present and eligible to vote upon the following Resolutions:
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Town Meeting of the Town of Putnam,
2a.) RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the Town of Putnam is hereby authorized to file an application pursuant to the State of Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act, Chapter 228a, of the Connecticut General Statutes, for the 2010 Neighborhood Assistance Act Program. The Town’s Program shall consist of Cady Copp Cottage and the Regional YMCA.
2b.) RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Board of Selectmen are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to file an application with the Commissioner of Revenue Services and to do all things necessary and proper to qualify these Programs pursuant to the provisions of the Connecticut General Statutes.
2c.) RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Board of Selectmen are hereby authorized to provide such additional information as the Commissioner may require as to the concept of the program, the neighborhood area to be served, and any other information required by statute or regulation.
