WOODSTOCK --- The Woodstock Seniors will hold the following on the lower level of the Town Hall this week: Arts and crafts, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Aug. 4; dominoes, 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 4. Exercises cancelled for months of July and August.

Dairy Exhibit
WOODSTOCK --- "Farmers, Cows and the Land," an exhibition about the modern history of dairy farming in Connecticut,  is on display at the Roseland Cottage carriage barn through Oct. 15, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Free.

Fun Run

Puppetry Exhibit
STORRS --- The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry will present two exhibits, "Punch and Judy: Handpuppets, Politics and Humor," and "Frank and Elizabeth Haines: An American Puppet Theater in the 1930s," through Dec. 19 at the UConn campus.  www.bimp.uconn.edu.

'Grease'

Blood Drive

PUTNAM --- The Hope Community Church on Kennedy Drive will hold its annual free Community Picnic from noon to 4 p.m. Free food, pony rides, games and more.

Car Cruise
PUTNAM --- The Tri-State Cruisers hold their car cruise from 4 to 8 p.m. every Saturday at the Super Stop & Shop parking lot on Rt. 44.

Fund-raiser Evening

Food Drive
WOODSTOCK --- The town will be collecting nonperishable food during the primary votes at Town Hall, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters are urged to bring along a bag of non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation toward fuel assistance prior to casting their vote. 860-928-0208 x336.
