JEWETT CITY --- Kevin C. Merchant, president and CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank, announced the promotion of vice president Sandra Y. Boucher to the position of retail banking officer, with oversight responsibility for branch administration.
Boucher joined Jewett City Savings Bank in 1984. During her career with the bank, she has served as head teller at the Central Village office, assistant manager of the Brooklyn office, and, for the past two decades, as branch manager of the Central Village office. The bank has a branch in Dayville.
A Moosup resident, Boucher is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management, and has received several First in Class awards in courses offered by the American Institute of Banking.
