PUTNAM — Sept. 1 Day Kimball Healthcare partnered with Jefferson Radiology to provide advanced and comprehensive diagnostic imaging and interventional services to radiology patients seen at Day Kimball Hospital, Danielson Healthcare Center or Plainfield Healthcare Center.
“Day Kimball Healthcare is excited to have a local radiology provider that shares our values of providing the highest quality patient care,” said Robert E. Smanik, FACHE, president and CEO. He added, “Jefferson Radiology’s exceptional customer service, depth of expertise and experience, along with their attention toward progressive technology and commitment to rapid turnaround of readings truly benefits our patients.”
The majority of Jefferson Radiology physicians have been fellowship trained at leading medical institutions throughout the country and have specialty expertise in all fields of radiology. All of the radiologists are board certified in diagnostic radiology. Their depth of services includes a secure link to other locations and members of their group for subspecialty readings when requested.

Day Kimball Healthcare becomes the fifth healthcare organization in Connecticut to provide Jefferson Radiology’s professional radiology services. Others include Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Windham Hospital and Johnson Memorial Hospital.
