POMFRET --- Rectory School celebrated its Fall Family Weekend and the weekend was filled with music, sports, receptions, and --- new this year --- a very successful fund-raising Fall Fling Golf Tournament. With 23 teams taking part, the tournament was called a success. It raised scholarship money for the annual MELP program.
Dawn Chmura, director of Alumni Relations, was the weekend's coordinator. The Prism Concert featured continuous music without applause until the end of the concert as each song blended into the next one. One-hundred seventy five students are involved in the musical program. For the first time, the concert included dance. Receptions and parent-teacher conferences were also the order of the day, as was a fund-raiser silent auction.
