PHS teams win
PUTNAM --- The Putnam High School cross country teams both won their meets last week.
At a home meet vs. Norwich Tech Oct. 14, the boys won: Putnam 15 Norwich Tech 50. The PHS record is 4-1.
In the highlights, Will Walsh took first and second place went to Ed Greczyowski.
In the girls' meet the score was Putnam 15 Norwich Tech 50. The PHS record is now 3-2.
Highlights included a second-place finish by Jaylin Greene, and a fourth-place finish by Farrah Belleveau.
This week the CSC League meet is Oct. 21 at Wickham Park.
