Emma Kristine Gates and Peter Agrin Zelken are pleased to announce their engagement to be married.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brian and Ulrika Gates of Stonington (formerly of Putnam) and the granddaughter of Al and Marie LeSage of Mystic, the late Gary Gates of Putnam, Karl-Eric and Barbro Bengtson of Annelund Sweden and great-granddaughter of Helen Gates of Danielson.
Her fiance is the son of Scott and Eileen Zelken of Lyme and the grandson of Jerome and Barbara Zelken of Delray Beach, Fla., and Marjorie and the late Solomon Fishman of Pembroke Pines, Fla. A July 2012 wedding is being planned.
