Putnam American Legion Post 13 Commander Norman B. Seney Jr. accepted from Wreaths Across America Executive Director Karen Worcester and her husband, Merrill, one of the more than 200,000 wreaths that will adorn the graves of veterans in all 50 states during the Yule season. The brief Putnam stop Dec. 7, by the caravan headed for Arlington National Cemetery, was to turn State Police and Patriot Guard Rider escorts from Rhode Island over to those from Connecticut.
