Rovero named to
3 key panels
HARTFORD --- State Representative Danny Rovero (D-Killingly, Putnam, Thompson) was sworn into office last week and was asked by Speaker of the House Christopher G. Donovan to serve on the legislature’s Banks, Higher Education and Public Safety committees.
Rep. Rovero is a lifelong resident of the district. He previously served his community as mayor of Putnam, a member of the Killingly Charter Revision Commission, chairperson of the Northeast Council of Governments and as a member of the Northeast Regional Committee on Aging. “Serving the people of Killingly, Putnam, and Thompson is an honor and I’m looking forward to hearing their thoughts and ideas as we begin the legislative session,” Rovero said. “This is a very challenging time for the state.”
