WOODSTOCK --- The Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut will present "Stevesongs" at 2 p.m. March 6 at the Hyde Cultural Center.
Tickets are $10 each by calling the box office at 928-2946 or $12 at the door.
A Connecticut native, Steve Roslonek of SteveSongs has been writing/performing award-winning music for families for the past 11 years.
A rising star on the national kids music scene, Steve blends smart lyrics, catchy melodies and thoughtful messages into fun participatory songs that kids love and adults find irresistible.
The Boston Globe called his show “not just a musical journey but an entertaining, interactive and educational one.”
Steve discovered his love for songwriting during college summers on Martha’s Vineyard, where he performed with and wrote for a professional a cappella group called The Vineyard Sound. They sold out performances at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown, the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs and have performed for Merv Griffen in Atlantic City, with Carly Simon at Blue Heron Farm in West Tisbury, and for President Clinton at the Black Dog Restaurant in Vineyard Haven.
