Reverend Thomas Crumb started at the church last fall. He grew up in Rochester, N.Y., and pursued musical studies at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory in Berea, Ohio,  from which he received a bachelor's degree in music. He then went to the Yale School of Music in New Haven and received a master's degree in music.
While finishing his studies at Yale, he came to personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and sensed His call to full-time ministry. Thomas received his Master of Divinity degree from the Conservative Baptist Seminary of the East and is a licensed and ordained minister with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. He has been in full-time Christian service for the past 30 years and has served churches in Connecticut, Nebraska and Massachusetts.
His focus in ministry is to see others become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ and to be used by Him to create settings in which they can “grow up in every way into Christ who is the head” of the church. (Ephesians 4:15) Alongside his ministerial responsibilities, Thomas has enjoyed many opportunities as a performing artist to appear in numerous oratorio, operatic and musical comedy roles within the New England area. For recreation and the refreshment of the soul, he enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking, and, reading. He and his wife Linda also enjoy dogs, playing games, extending hospitality to guests and enjoying their company.
