PUTNAM —The staff at Putnam Chiropractic Center, LLC, will be hosting a food drive at their 245 School St. office through Nov. 19.
All nonperishable food items collected during the food drive will be donated to Interfaith Human Services of Putnam (IHSP) – Daily Bread.
In addition to the food drive, a “Turkey Day” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 17. On “Turkey Day,” current patients who donate a turkey for families in need will receive a free visit!
Channel 3’s Kevin Hogan will be stopping by from 1 to 2 p.m. and members of the Green Valley Blackhawks will be at the office, as well.
Turkey donations are only accepted on Nov. 17 due to refrigeration needs.
Dr. Frederick Barks Jr. said, “I have a special place in my heart for those in need,” he said, “and consider it a privilege to be able to give back and help, especially this time of the year.”
