Jan. 5
The Woodstock Academy Wrestling Team attended the Bristol Central tournament and had Jacob Bowen place 4th at 120 going 3-2 and Graysen DeLuca take 4th at 126 going 2-2. Tanner McReynolds went 1-2 at 132. Devan Ciapocha went 1-2 at 170 and Doug Putnam went 1-2 at 220.
Jan. 4
The Gymnastics team beat RHAM High School 142.6 to 109.1. Jackie Deary won the all-around competition and Brie Husong was tied for second in the all-around.
At Alumni Gymnasium the Centaur’s boys' basketball team kept their undefeated streak alive with a 56-46 victory over second place Bacon Academy. After trailing by 3 points at the half the Centaurs made a run to start the second half and maintained a single point lead most of the second half. Late in the game Bacon Academy had to scramble and Woodstock Academy took advantage of their aggressiveness by scoring layups. Woodstock Academy dominated the glass and paint all night which proved to be the difference.
Game Stats: Ian Converse – 25 points and 15 Rebounds (Another Double-Double);  Sullivan Gardner – 11 points and  14 rebounds; Tristan Welch – 11 points; Chris Lowry – 7 points and 10 assists.
Jan. 2
On the ice, the hockey team had an impressive 4-2 victory over a strong Auburn High School team.   The Centaurs had a balanced scoring attack, strong defense, and solid goaltending to pull out the victory. The team is moving the puck well and skating fast! Game Stats: Will Smith – 1 Goal; Tom Burnham – 1 Goal and 1 Assist; Zach Burnham – 1 Goal and 1 Assist; Austin Beaupre – 1 Goal and 1 Assist; Goaltender Tucker Johns had 20 saves.
On the hardwood the Centaur’s hoop team wowed fans on route to an impressive 75-39 victory over Lyman Memorial High School. With a slow start to the game Woodstock Academy found themselves down 9-1 to start the game. The Centaurs scored the next 5 points cutting the Lyman lead to 9-6. On the next possession the Centaurs grabbed the rebound off a Lyman miss, outlet passed the ball to Chris Lowry who crossed half court and then threw an alley-oop pass to Ian Converse for the slam dunk. The crowd went crazy and the Centaurs never looked back. They went on a 20 point run and had a 25 point lead at the half. The Centaurs used the entire bench and had a balanced scoring attack throughout the night. They also dominated the glass all night.
