#1 Putnam Science Academy is still hot
BRAINTREE, Mass. —  #1 Putnam Science Academy (PSA) continues to play well as they knocked off Brewster Academy for the second time this season 92-74.  Parrish Edmond led PSA with 17 points and Jaeden Roberts had 13 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.  Warren Keel added 11 points and 3 assists and Brayson Green had 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Mustangs.  Tony Williams (3 assists), Jamias Ferere (4 rebounds) and Abdou Yadd (4 rebounds) all scored 9 points apiece to help PSA improve to 25-2 on the season.
SOUTH KENT — Parrish Edmond scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the #1 ranked Mustangs to a 72-66 hard fought road win over South Kent Wednesday night.  Ben Ahmed had 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks and Brayson Green had 10 points and 11 rebounds for PSA.  Tony Williams added 9 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals and Jamell Hatchett chipped in 8 points and 4 rebounds.  Abdou Yadd also helped Putnam Science to move to 26-2 on the season by scoring 7 points and grabbing 3 rebounds. 
PROVIDENCE — #1 ranked Putnam Science improved to 28-2 on the season after beating Fort Erie (Canada) Thursday 78-67 at the National Prep School Invitational.  Parrish Edmond had another great game with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals and Ben Ahmed had 12 points and 5 rebounds in the win. Adama Tambedou added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists.  Abdou Yadd (3 rebounds) and Tony Williams (4 rebounds) each chipped in with 8 points apiece. 
Elite boys
PUTNAM — The Elite boys won their 20th game of the season 108-83 knocking off visiting Hoosac School. Dominick LaDuca led the Mustangs with 25 points (seven 3’s) and 4 assists and Javelle Epps had 20 points and 3 rebounds. Jude Gonzalez added 14 points and Lazarus Mason had 12 points and 5 assists for PSA. David Djan chipped in 6 points and 6 rebounds.
PUTNAM — The Elite boys’ team won big Monday night over Moses Brown (RI) 87-68 to improve to 21-5 on the season.  Octavius Wheeler led the Mustangs with 23 points and 5 steals and Javelle Epps had 20 points and 3 rebounds.  Lazarus Mason added 18 points and 4 assists and David Djan had 7 points and 7 rebounds in the win.
SOUTH KENT — Octavius Wheeler had 27 points and 6 assists to lead the PSA Elite boys to a 100-71 road win over South Kent on Wednesday. Dominick LaDuca had 18 points and 4 assists and Jude Gonzalez had 12 points and 3 assists for PSA in the win. Chris Young added 12 points and Jacob Wang chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds to help the Mustangs move to 22-5 on the season.
Varsity boys have great week, 3-0
OAKDALE — TJ Espinosa sparked the PSA Varsity boys Monday with a big road win over St. Thomas More 51-50. Espinosa had 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists and Jacob Wang had 11 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Zuko Ntshikila added 7 points and 5 rebounds and Gabe Vicente chipped in 8 rebounds.  Putnam Science Varsity Boys moves to 10-8 on the season.
WILBRAHAM, Mass. — Javier De Castro had a huge second half and finished the game with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 steals to lead PSA Varsity boys to a 52-48 win Wednesday over Wilbraham & Monson. TJ Espinosa added 16 points and 8 rebounds and Drake Alvarez added 10 points in the win to help the Mustangs move to 11-8 on the season. Craig Jonhera added 8 rebounds and 4 steals and Jason Wang had 4 points and 4 rebounds.
PUTNAM — TJ Espinosa had 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the Varsity boys to an 86-43 home win over Mount St. Charles. Drake Alvarez added 15 points and 2 steals and Jason Wang had 10 points and 8 rebounds for PSA. Gabriel Vicente added 9 points and 8 rebounds and Angle Sienturer chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds as the Mustangs move to 12-8 on the season.
Varsity girls have 2-0 week
PUTNAM — The Varsity girls lost a tough game at home 51-32 to Scituate High to drop to 9-5 on the season. Altinai Touchteau led the Lady Mustangs with 12 points and Defne Mumcu added 10 points and 6 rebounds. The Varsity Girls play again Monday vs Hoosac starting at 3:30.
PUTNAM — The Varsity girls won Monday at home over the Hoosac School 52-38. Lehelie Joseph-Lockel led the Lady Mustangs with 14 points and 4 steals to help PSA improve to 10-5 on the season.  Adut Tour (8 rebounds) and Vega Larru (2 assists) each scored 12 points apiece for Putnam Science. Defne Mumcu added 10 rebounds and Ayca Kazak chipped in 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the win.
Prep girls have tough road trip
HUDSON, Ohio —  The Lady Mustangs traveled to Ohio for the NERR national showcase for the weekend and lost Friday to Orangeville Prep 60-49. Isil Koksal led PSA with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals and Rachel Lynch added 10 points and 4 rebounds. Tatiana Bell chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds as the Lady Mustangs fall to 13-4 on the season.
HUDSON, Ohio — Spire Academy gave the PSA Mustangs their second loss of the trip 60-49 to fall to 13-5 on the season. Valentina Vrcan led the Prep girls with 11 points and Kate Lipatova had 10 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. Janaya Prince added 8 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.
HUDSON, Ohio — The Lady Mustangs lost on Sunday 52-41 to Kings Christian to finish the trip 0-3. Janaya Prince had a big game with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals and Kate Lipatova had 6 points and 8 rebounds for PSA. Tacko Sy added 6 points and Valentina Vrcan chipped in 6 points and 2 rebounds. Key players were missing for PSA due to injuries over the weekend as they fell to 13-6.
PUTNAM — The Prep girls ended their three-game losing streak with a big home win over the Hoosac School 51-38. Valentina Vrcan led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists, and Kate Lipatova had 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Janaya Prince added 8 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds and Tatiana Bell chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists as PSA moved to 14-6.
