Mariah Moriarty, 24, Putnam Pike, Charlton; violation of protective order, disorderly conduct, first-degree criminal trespass.

PUTNAM — With the help of the Putnam Police Department, the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force arrested a Putnam man on fugitive from justice charge. Troy Pipkin, 29, of 49 Battey St., was arrested Jan. 9. After troopers were contacted by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Arrest Section, troopers and officers from the Putnam Police Department went to the Battey Street address and took Pipkin into custody. His fugitive from justice charge was based on Massachusetts arrest warrant for aggravated assault and battery.

PUTNAM — A Putnam man was charged with possession of crack cocaine after police observed a drug handoff on Powhattan Street Jan. 10.
Troopers assigned to the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force were in an undercover car driving passing Powhattan Street, Troopers spotted Anthony Falzone, 27, 96 Powhattan St., make what appeared to be a hand-to-hand drug deal with an unknown individual. Troopers questioned Falzone. Falzone admitted to having crack cocaine in his pocket. A patrol officer from the Putnam Police Department assisted troopers.
