PUTNAM — Allison Clancy, registered nurse (RN) for Day Kimball Hospital’s inpatient behavioral health unit, has been named employee of the month for October by Day Kimball Healthcare (DKH).
Clancy began working for DKH in November 2017. In her role, she is responsible for assisting in the treatment of and providing therapeutic support to patients in acute mental health crisis.
Clancy earned her associate’s degree in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island. In her spare time, she works as a veterinary technician at a local clinic and when the opportunity arises, Clancy enjoys caring for orphaned newborn puppies.
Clancy was born at Day Kimball Hospital and has lived in northeastern Connecticut her entire life. She currently lives with her boyfriend and their three dogs, three cats, and three bunnies.

DANIELSON — A Danielson man was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny in connection with a July burglary on Liberty Highway in Putnam.
Troopers with Troop D of the State Police conducted a lengthy investigation into the burglary and got a warrant for Jonathan T. Putnam, 25, of 170 Broad St., Apt. B.
Dec. 2 a trooper watching Putnam’s resident in Danielson spotted Putnam in a car in the driveway and took him into custody.

NOTE: Prospective bidders must have a current sworn Statement (CON-16) on file with the Connecticut Department of Transportation and be prequalified to perform Group No. 9 (Intermediate Bridges) work.  The Bidder’s Prequalification approval letter signed by the CTDOT Contracts Manager shall be included as part of the bid package submitted to the Municipality.
NOTE: Any Contractor or Subcontractor engaged in surface preparation and/or coating application must be certified by the Steel Structures Painting Council.
NOTE: A Surety Company Bond, on the form furnished by the Municipality, for at least 30 percent of the amount of the bid must accompany each proposal.  A certified check will not be accepted.  The Municipality reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
