Casting call
PUTNAM — An Open casting call for a Cuba Gooding Jr. feature fill will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Bradley Playhouse on Front Street (Rt. 44). SAG-AFTRA members ( with membership cards) are scheduled from 3 to 4 p .m. p.m. but may come at any time.
The call is for background actors to film a scene in a Pomfret church during the 1800s , with the possibility of other background scenes. This is a paid position, and individuals must be at least 18 years of age and able to portray ages 18-60. Filming will take place in Connecticut from September through November, with the local scenes reportedly scheduled for November. Previous acting experience is not required.
