Green Fest
BROOKLYN --- The Last Green Festival will be held at the Brooklyn Agricultural Fairgrounds Sept. 28, 29 and 30. It’s a music, art, film, food and environmentally focused zero waste “green” event. Community Day
THOMPSON --- The Thompson Community Day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. There will be Taste of Thompson Pizza Contest from 2 to 3 p.m., a dunk tank, demos, food, music, and much more. Admission and parking free.
Art Exhibit
POMFRET CENTER --- The Connecticut Audubon of Pomfret will present "Flights of Fancy," a watercolor exhibit and sale, by David Stumpo at the Audubon Center on Day Road. The reception is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 30. Free.
Taste of Valley
